Fur Free Friday 2009 in New York City brought activists to the Madison Avenue Coach store to protest the company’s use of fur trimmed items in their lines. Welcome to the campaign, Coach! Coach contributes to the bloodshed of fur bearing animals by continuing to use fur, when there are fantastic alternatives available. Activists, though disgusted with any animal being used as clothing (leather included), stood in solidarity with the global efforts of fur free friday and vowed to make Coach stores a regular stop until the fur drops from their lines.
