Fur Free Friday 2009 in New York City brought activists to the Madison Avenue Max Mara store to continue the global campaign against the company for their use of fur and fur-trimmed items in their lines. Max Mara contributes to the bloodshed of fur bearing animals by continuing to use fur, when there are fantastic alternatives available. Activists, though disgusted with any animal being used as clothing (leather included), stood in solidarity with the global efforts of fur free friday and vowed to continue the campaign against Max Mara until the fur drops from their lines. Animals are anally and vaginally electrocuted, stomped, drowned, gassed, and often skinned alive to provide the rich some sick sense of fashion. Max Mara, stop selling fur!
