This product did not make the damaged area look like new, but did prevent further damage to the shoe and got the shoe to a point of "wearability" that did not look bad. <br /> <br />If you are expecting the repair to look like new, you will be disappointed. Maybe it would work better on a flat surface, like a leather cushion or coat, but on shoes it was so-so.
